Since my time here at the Shakespeare Festival is drawing to a close, I thought I'd do a post to wrap up my experience. First of all, I do want to say that I really enjoyed it. I know you guys mostly read my bitching about it, but I honestly did have a good time and would consider doing it again.

We were organizing this shelf of old Vogue issues that they keep around for inspiration for the patterning class. All of a sudden, the new shop manager bursts out, "Oh, my GOD!" So, we had a massive thunderstorm to end all thunderstorms earlier. Torrential downpour, 60 mph winds, knocked out power to half the county. We still prepped for the shows, using flashlights and candles to get everyone into costumes and wigs, just in case the power came back on. No luck, so everything was cancelled. I am at the wrong end of a nineteen hour day. Although, at least with it over, I know that it will probably be the worst for the rest of the summer.
